Of all of the Lake Geneva Bars out there you are probably asking yourself why did this guy choose Harpoon Willies as the best. For one, I have lived in the area for a long time and have a lot of experience with the bars in this area. I have visited them all, and some more than others, but none more that Harpoons.
Even though it is located in Williams Bay, I still consider Poons (as the locals call it) #1 because all of the Lake Geneva Bars just do not match up. With superior food, a great combination of tap and bottled beers, a wide variety of rail and specialty drinks, great customer service, and a downright home town friendly attitude it is no wonder why I give them top honors. All of these things add up to make Poons the must visit of all Lake Geneva Bars out there.
Well, it is obvious which tavern I have chosen top dog of all Lake Geneva Bars. That is not to say there are not many other bars that do not offer a great experience for the customer. The best way for you to decide which bars you think are the best is to get out and give them all a shot.
